Good morning Everyone!! 🤜🏽🤛🏾 The 10-day countdown begins!!! Be continuously in prayer for our government and all the decisions they need to make! 🔜 I have been praying for all of you! 🙏🏽 And the prayer of my heart is that each and every single one of you has had a revival start in them. A fire 🔥 that cannot be quenched. Do not spend another second without Christ. I cannot wait for the day I see you all! Its going to be epic! 🤯 🎶Song for today: Rattle – Elevation Worship🎵 Hebrews 9.

The beginning of Hebrews 9 describes how the old order of things used to work before Jesus. That the high priest was the only one allowed into the inner courts to make an offering of blood for all His sins and all the sins of everyone else. But the sacrifices of animals 🐐🐑 were not sufficient to clear the feeling of guilt. The blood of animals were only enough to clear the person externally. 💧

Then Jesus came. His blood ❣️ was able to do what the blood of animals were not able to do. Jesus’ blood was the perfect sacrifice and still is. The blood of Jesus cleanses 🌊 us from all sin, external and internal. This means we no longer have to live with the feelings of condemnation and sin. The blood of Jesus takes all the sins away, so much so that God no longer remembers the sin..

❓Why are the sacrifices of animals no longer necessary for the forgiveness of our sins? ❔Do you struggle with feelings of guilt? ❓According to what we just read why don’t you need to feel guilt or shame anymore? Hebrews 10. The Old Testament was only a shadow 🔙 of things that God was planning to do. God knew the old sacrifices were not enough and He needed the blameless life of Christ to make the perfect sacrifice. Jesus knew this as well and He did the will of the Father. 🙇🏽 Because Jesus gave up His body and blood and His life was sinless and blameless we can stand before God and holy and blameless. 🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏾 When we ask God for forgiveness He no longer looks at us and see our sins, but He sees a son and a daughter. Because of this, we no longer need a high priest to enter the inner room for us, but we can go there ourselves and encounter the presence of God, one on one. 🙌🏽 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. – Hebrews 10:23-25* ❓What is the author encouraging us to do here?

If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[i] and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[j] 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. – Hebrews 10:26-31 ❔What is the author warning us?

36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37 For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” And, But my righteous[l] one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” – Hebrews 10:36-38 Closing prayer Thank you Lord Jesus for being the perfect sacrifice for my life. Help me to see myself the way you see me, as your child. I thank you that since the beginning you had a plan for me to encounter you personally. Thank you for forgiving all my sins so that I can enter the inner court. Help we to live everyday in your presence and to be close to your heart. In Jesus name Amen ✝️
