Good morning guys. 👊🏽

If you haven’t caught it yet, remember to watch Pastor Brett’s sermon on the website https://www.rbapchurch.org/. Today as we have a look at our Bible reading challenge let us be grateful that the son has come out! After quite a few days of cold and rain it reminds me that every storm passes and the son always come out at the end.

Bible Reading:

✅2 Timothy 3-4

✔️Psalm 9

2 Timothy 3

Chapter 3 begins by describing some of the smaller details of what we will see happening in the end times. Thinks like People being loves of themselves🙋🏾, lovers of money💰, proud🤔, abusive😤, disobedient to their parents😱. Isn’t it amazing how accurate the word of God is right up to the present age.

❓Have a look through what is described as the end times. We know that since Jesus ascended into heaven we have been living in the end times. In the list given by Paul to Timothy we see a lot of what is described here is already things that we can see in society today?

❔Write down in your journal what you see taking place in society today according to the predictions that Paul made:

❓Lets have a little time of introspection. Do any of these descriptions apply to you? How can you change it?

❔Read verses 16 – 17. How should the word of God be used?

2 Timothy 4

This is Pauls final words to Timothy in the letter.

1. Paul encourages Timothy to preach the word, to be an ambassador of truth in a world where the truth is distorted. Have you experienced the truth being distorted before? How can you be an ambassador for the truth of Gods word? ❓

2. Paul at the end of His life says that he has fought to good fight, he has run the race and he has kept the fight. He is confident that when it is all over he will receive the crown of righteousness and he will be rewarded on the day of Judgement. What do you want to be said about you at the end of your life? Are you confident that you will receive a reward at the end of your life? ❓

Psalm 9

❓What is being taught here? What does it mean?

❔What are these scriptures telling me to do?

❓Is there a command for me?

❔Is there a promise for me?

❓How can I apply this to my life?
