Wednesday 06.05.2020 Being Human

Hey guys 👋🏾 Q1) If you had to describe the human race in three words, what would those words be? Q2) What are the best and worst parts of human nature? We are all human 🧑🏽👩🏼 and God has created us uniquely!! We are created above the animals 🐗🐢 and a little below the Angels. 📖 What does the Bible say about human nature? 📖 👉🏽 God created us to be amazing and to be a reflection of him. So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27) We are created in he image of God 🔎 in His likeness. All of our best qualities, the ability to love♥️, show compassion 🤗, to laugh 🤣 etc, is because we are created in God's image. This is amazing, because everyone is created uniquely and different. There is no one like you on this planet that has every existed, exists today nor will ever exist. To be human is awesome!!🥳

👉🏽 Because of sin, our nature has changed from God’s design. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. (Romans 3:23) Everyone has sinned 🚫 no one apart from Jesus is sinless. This sin competes with the image of God that is created in us 🚷. But we all sin and make mistakes. Sin is what moves us away from God. When we sin we destroy the image of God in us 😟. Sin hurts us and it disrupts the relationship we have with God.

👉🏽 Everyone who trusts Jesus becomes a new creation in God’s eyes. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. (Romans 3:22) This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17) Because of Sin, Jesus came and He restores us by removing our sin and making us right with God again ✝️ When we sin, all we need to do is to ask God for forgiveness, and turn away from our sins. Then we are forgiven, our sin is forgotten and our relationship with God is restored. 💓
